Plot Summary: Yagami Light is an ace student with great prospects, who's bored out of his mind. One day he finds the "Death Note": a notebook from the realm of the Death Gods, with the power to kill people in any way he desires. With the Death Note in hand, Light decides to create his perfect world, without crime or criminals. Personal Thoughts: Yagami Light is really brilliant in every aspect - sport, academy, and career. In my opinion, I agree with his thoughts on killing all the criminals and create a clean world where all the bad guys don't exist. Though some of you may not agree with that I think, but that kind of world is really ideal for me. All the Police, like ICPO / Interpol, FBI and such, shouldn't have trying to catch such a "god" who's saving the world from evil just for the sake of their "PRIDE". If you're to say that Kira is a murderer, then L is the one who provoked him to kill. . . But still, everyone have their own opinion, this is just my own opinion on deathnote.

Critics & Comments: The episodes after L's death is somehow quite boring. . . . and Kira's death is due to the mistake of his apprentice. . . . Among the story in manga, anime and movie, I still prefer the ending in manga, then anime, and lastly movie.

Recommendation: Worth watching and worth scolding (either L or Kira). Very good anime, cause it's the 1st time I encounter an evil main character.
