Naruto

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, Chidori, Rasengan..... These are all the famous skills from the manga / anime Naruto.

Plot Summary: Naruto closely follows the life of a boy who is feared and detested by the villagers of the hidden leaf village of Konoha. The distrust of the boy has little to do with the boy himself, but it’s what’s inside him that causes anxiety. Long before Naruto came to be, a Kyuubi (demon fox) with great fury and power waged war taking many lives. The battle ensued for a long time until a man known as the Fourth Hokage, Yondaime, the strongest ninja in Konoha, fiercely fought the Kyuubi. The fight was soon won by Yondaime as he sealed the evil demon in a human body. Thus the boy, Naruto, was born. As Naruto grows he decides to become the strongest ninja in Konoha in an effort to show everyone that he is not as they perceive him to be, but is a human being worthy of love and admiration. But the road to becoming Hokage, the title for the strongest ninja in Konoha, is a long and arduous one. It is a path filled with betrayal, pain, and loss; but with hard work, Naruto may achieve Hokage.

Personal Thoughts: Similar to BLEACH, every character here in Naruto having their own unique fighting skills and abilities. Besides, there are some peoples in the story are with Kekkei Genkai [1], like Neji's Byakugan, Sasuke's Sharingan, and etc.

Neji, one of my favorite characters in Naruto, is smart, strong and able to come up with various skills that wasn't passed down to him. For example, Kaiten.

Shikamaru, another super genius that has 200 IQ, with just some simple skills like "kage mane no jutsu", some explosion tags, and some traps, he is able to take down the enemies that is even stronger than him.

Critics & Comments: Too many flashes back, conversation & fillers making the story look very complicated and boring. One simple fighting scene will usually take 4-5 episodes or even more. Besides, don't you think that Naruto is so ***** to think that he can help and bring back Sasuke even he was rejected for many times?

Recommendations: Recommend to watch it without the fillers.

Personal Rating: 3.5 / 5

[1] Kekkei Genkai (血継限界, lit. "bloodline limit") are abilities passed down genetically in specific clans.
